About Us

Lawman Legal – Federal Law Enforcement Legal Advocates
Lawman Legal is a Texas-based law firm dedicated to defending the rights, careers, and reputations of law enforcement officers at the federal, state, and local levels. With more than 65 years of combined legal experience, our attorneys provide trusted, results-driven representation for officers facing disciplinary action, internal investigations, critical incidents, civil service hearings, and appeals before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB).

Our mission is to provide hands-on, aggressive legal representation to the men and women who serve and protect. We understand the unique pressures and risks that law enforcement officers face, and we are committed to helping our clients navigate the complexities of administrative, civil, and employment-related legal matters.

At Lawman Legal, we take a proactive approach to legal defense. Our attorneys personally engage with each client at every stage of the case—from the initial response to proposed disciplinary action to final hearings and appeals. We work closely with officers, union representatives, and legal defense funds to develop a clear, fact-based legal strategy focused on protecting our clients’ futures.

We have successfully represented hundreds of officers in:

  • Internal affairs investigations
  • Use-of-force and officer-involved shootings
